# not a tech company

> not a tech company is a small Belgian software studio in Gent that builds human-first apps for everyday problems. The studio is operated by Joren De Groof (VAT BE1033.576.768). Tagline: "software with a soul."

The studio's philosophy: technology is the tool, not the point. Every product starts with a real human problem (packing for a trip, tracking a workday, capturing a child's milestones), is shipped only when it feels obvious to use, and aims to stay out of the way once installed.

Products currently shipped or in development:

- **Labeur** (live) — A €2.99 iPhone app for Belgian freelancers and management-company owners. Log a workday in two taps; track home vs office days, half-days, commute method and bike-allowance kilometres; produce a monthly report for your accountant. 100% on-device — no accounts, no cloud sync, no analytics, no network requests.
- **Pret** (beta) — A smart holiday packing assistant. Tell it where you're going, when, and with whom; it builds a packing list so you don't forget the swimsuits.
- **Kids Diary** (coming soon) — A diary parents keep for their kids — first words, funny quotes, milestones — to hand over when the child is old enough.
